How do I become a member?

Select your preferred jacket style, color, and size, add it to your cart, and check out. It’s that simple.

Is renting really worth it?

Yes, we really believe so! Over the course of a year your child will need at least three jackets: a warm winter jacket, a lightweight cross-seasonal or softshell jacket, and of course a rain jacket. And with high-quality jackets like ours, that adds up to quite a lot – especially since kids can outgrow them faster than you can imagine.

With our membership you don’t just save money, you also save time and hassle: no reselling, no shipping, no closet full of outgrown jackets. Just the right jacket at the right time – simple as that.

What’s included in the membership fee?

Your membership provides everything you'll need for a hassle‑free experience:

  • Jacket rental (number of jackets depends on your plan)
  • One free swap every 3 months for a new size, color, and/or style
  • Full damage coverage for rips, stains, and wear and tear

Are there any additional fees or hidden costs?

No surprises. Your monthly fee covers everything, including damage.

  • No deposits or hidden charges
  • Same price for all jacket styles, sizes, and colors
  • Damage is fully covered, so kids can be kids

The only extra charge applies if a jacket is not returned after a swap or membership cancellation. In that case, the full retail price is charged.

Is there a minimum membership term?

Yes. The minimum membership is 3 months, which covers a full season. After 3 months, you can keep renting or cancel your membership at any time. No long-term commitment required.

Can I cancel my membership anytime?

There is a 14-day return window after joining to ensure the membership is a good fit. After the 3-month minimum term, you can cancel anytime.

How do I cancel my membership?

Log in to your account and go to Manage Membership.

  1. Select Cancel Membership.
  2. Fill out the return form and send your jacket back using the prepaid label.
  3. Your membership pauses immediately and is fully canceled once we receive the jacket.

You will not be charged while your membership is paused.

Can I buy the jacket if we really love it?

No, our jackets are rental-only. We focus on extending each jacket’s life and reducing waste by reusing them as part of a circular economy. Learn more.

Do you offer memberships for families with multiple children?

Yes! Just add the amount of jackets that you need, managed under one membership.


Payment

How much does the membership cost?

Choose the amount of jackets you need. Each jacket costs €25/ month.

Do I need to pay a deposit or prepayment?

No deposits, no upfront payments. You only pay the fixed monthly fee per jacket.

How does the payment process work?

We’ll bill you monthly starting at checkout. Your membership auto‑renews for as long as you need it. Swaps and full damage coverage are always included, so kids can enjoy their adventures worry‑free.


Swapping

What is a swap and how do I use it?

A swap lets you exchange your jacket every 3 months for free. Choose a new size, color, or style to keep up with growth spurts or changing seasons.

We’ll send you a friendly reminder when it’s time to check the fit.

How often can I swap?

Each membership let’s you swap once every 3 months. If you need to swap sooner, contact us at support@gore-texkidswear.com and we’ll assess your situation.

Will my kid be left without a jacket during a swap?

No worries! We always send the new jacket first, so your little one stays warm. You’ll have 7 days to send the old one back.

What sizes and styles can I swap to?

You can swap for any size (116-140), color, or style available. Just browse our collection and pick the jacket that's the best fit.

How do size swaps work if my kid grows faster than expected?

If your child has an unexpected growth spurt or you need an earlier swap, just email us at support@gore-texkidswear.com, and we’ll do our best to help.


Shipping & Returns

How long does shipping take?

Your jacket ships within 48 hours. We offer free shipping on all rental orders and swaps, so you’re always ready for the next adventure.

What if we don't like the jacket?

No stress. You have 14 days to try it out. Please leave the tags on the jacket. If the size, style, or color isn’t perfect, you can swap for another jacket for free or cancel your membership for a full refund.

Do I need to clean the jacket before return?

No. Leave the cleaning to us. Every jacket is professionally cleaned and refreshed so it’s like new for the next family.


Damage & Loss

What happens if my kid damages the jacket?

Accidents happen! Our service is designed to be worry-free, meaning scuffs, tears, or stains from everyday play are fully covered by the membership. We expect kids to be kids!

What happens if the jacket gets lost?

If your jacket gets lost, don't worry. Contact us at support@gore-texkidswear.com and we’ll figure it out together.


Personalization

Can I put my kid's name inside the jacket?

We ask that you don’t write directly on the jacket, but we'll send you removable name stickers that are easy to swap out whenever you need. They leave no marks, keep your info private, and we send a few extras just in case.
